S-Gates (North Satellite), Seattle Tacoma Airport, Washington
This is my review of the The Club SEA Lounge in Seattle’s Tacoma Airport, at S-Gates.
S-Gates is the international terminal from Seattle, and next to The Club lounge you’ll see find the British Airways Lounge.
As I understand it, this lounge was formerly a Delta Airlines lounge – but was since taken over by The Club.
The lounge is open daily from 06:00 to 19:00.
How to Get There
Once you’re at S-Gates, find the elevator which will take you up to the lounges (or you can take the stairs).
Once you’re out of the elevator, you’ll find the entrance to the lounge in front of you.
I gained entry via my Priority Passs.
Access can also by gained through paying around $50, and possibly with other memberships.
This is a pretty large lounge, and has an excellent range of seating.
There is the usual lounge seating, overlooking the apron of the airport.
There are the rather great working/eating seats, which are something I want in my living room!
If you need to work, there is some high-table working areas, and also desk areas with office seating.
There is also a room marked for First Class passengers. I am not sure what this room is for, or why it exists – but it may be the case that some airlines departing from S-Gates (such as Delta) use this room as a guarantee for passengers.
Food & Drinks
For soft drinks, tea and coffee, the drinks are self-service.
If you want something slightly stronger, there is bar service, which has a good range of cocktails, beers and wines. One thing I really like about The Club lounges is that there are no ‘premium’ drinks – everything is included!
Similar to the A-Gates lounge, unlike other Clubs I’ve visited (Charlotte, for example), there is no menu to order from QR code. However, there is a small range of soups, salads, snacks and other things available. Sadly no 3-course meal here! I’d say this is mostly similar to The Club in LAS E-Gates.
This may of course have changed since my visit!
The Wifi worked for me, and was fairly good during my visit, I was getting around 25mps up and down.
Unlike The Club in A-Gates this lounge does have showers. I found them to be be pretty good and very hot!
I think the food was disappointing given that this is a lounge at an international terminal. However, this is a huge lounge with lots of areas to sit/eat/work from.
Generally this is a very good lounge – but if some work could be done on the food (especially bringing in the QR code menu), it could be a great lounge!
